Geribá
Full of Youthful Energy!

and excellent waves for surfing. One of Búzios’
most beautiful beaches, it is very popular
with young people. The beach is dotted with
healthy bronzed bodies, and attracts many
Brazilian celebrities. Ideal for beach sports.
History
Geribá derives its name from a tall
palm tree, common along the Brazilian coast.
How to Get There
Geribá is a 5 Km. drive from the town
centre, first along the main highway, and
then by narrow roads towards the coast. From
the Pórtico, turn right at the Santa
Rita Church, and proceed for 1 Km.
General Information
In the summer and on National Holidays,
Geribá is famous for its musical shows.
Don’t forget your surfboard !.
