This promenade was named after Brigitte Bardot, in recognition of the fact that she was the celebrity who put Búzios on the international map. This promenade skirts the Praia de Armação, and it is a particularly beautiful walk in the late afternoon.

The fine details of Christina Motta’s sculpture can be seen in her statue of Brigitte, who is seated as she watches the sunset. Another Christina Motta sculpture nearby shows three fishermen, mounted on a base of stones, as they are pulling in their net.
